6 February 2015 – The NSW Government has released the new State Sponsorship Skilled Occupation List effective February 2015.
The new NSW State Government Skilled Occupation List has been announced and includes many occupations including Accountants and ICT Business Analysts.

However, the application process has changed to an invitation-only process. This means that you must be invited by the NSW Government in order to apply for the State Sponsorship application. The NSW Government will select candidates from the SkillSelect EOI pool.
Invitations are being sent progressively by NSW Government based on an applicant’s Points Score, English Language Ability and Work Experience (considered in this order).
Following successful State Nomination by NSW, you can apply for the Skilled Nominated Permanent Visa – Subclass 190.
